The New World Era - new norms, new orders, new perception of world surrounding us. This project depicts how we perceive people without faces. Faces without emotions. People without identity. This project explores theme of depersonalization of human beings and shows the individuals who lost their social contacts and are looking for self-identification and own space in the world.
Tatiana at home
The more time you spend in your home, the closer it reflects you. We shape our surroundings, to form it to our taste and needs. Over the period of time our home starts resembling our personality.
Hymn to life
This project depicts elderly women who are 76 years old or more and who were born in Soviet Union before or right after World War II and now living in Vancouver. Each of them carries all the memories of their not easy childhood during the war or during the years right after the war when they got great life experiences. Somebody survived the Holocaust. Somebody was kidnapped by gypsies. Somebody had father who was accused of being a Chinese spy, arrested and shot. In spite of their hard lives all these great women kept optimism and ability to enjoy their lives.
Life in Washroom
Behold, dear friends, for I have discovered a hidden gem in the most unlikely of places - the humble washroom! This unsuspecting chamber of hygiene and privacy can be transformed into a stunning backdrop for a delightful and unexpected photo shoot. So, come hither and indulge your senses in the beauty that lies within.
Chromatic dialogs
This project is an experiment with colours and attempt to show unusual perception of nature, when old relations between objects loose their meaning and images start new chromatic dialog with a viewer.
