Olga was born on May 1st 1937 in Sverdlovsk, Russia (now Ekaterinburg).  Her father was a returnee from China came back to Russia with his family in 1935. Soon after he was accused of being a Chinese spy, arrested and shot in December 1938, when Olga was only about 6 months old. She does not remember her father but treasures his amazing drawings of Pacific coast landscapes made by her dad and which her mother passed onto her many years ago.
The tough family history made Olga's life in Soviet Union quite complicated. There are many things she could do, including getting her dream profession (she wanted to be a theatre stage designer). She graduated from the music college and has been teaching kids playing piano for over 40 years.
Same as her father, Olga is an extremely gifted person - painting water colours, clay modelling, doing incredible garden designs, but her most beloved craft is cross stitch embroidery, which she is quite involved with till now. Olga moved to Canada in 2019. Reading, long walks in the park and embroidery are her most favourite activities.
