Margarita came from St. Petersburg to Canada 24 years ago when her granddaughter was born.
She was born in 1939 in small city Volokolamsk near Moscow. When WW2 started her father was in army and went to war. Margarita with her mother was evacuated to South Ural. She does not remember much about the war but remembers how she was kidnapped by gypsies but mother was very brave and be able to find her and return back home.
Margarita resisted having a computer for a long time. But 7 years ago she finally decided to get one, and since then her favourite hobby is to look for recipes from the Internet and experiment with pastries. She loves to grow flowers, and in the summer her balcony has the most flowers in the whole apartment building.
She loves to walk and always inspire those people around her with her optimism, enthusiasm and positive energy.
